Microblink

ID Documents Verification
A third-party component provided by Microblink. Microblink BlinkID includes document verification, OCR, and verified photo extraction. The most common types of the user document are supported. Microblink also, upon request, adds a new kind of document each quarter. The training of the Microblink model is based on multiple specimens - Microblink has a process for collecting new specimens; for some exotic types of documents, the specimen can also be collected by the customers.

This tool conducts both non-forensic and forensic inspections, guaranteeing the verification of document authenticity with unmatched precision. With an AI-driven approach, BlinkID Verify is capable of detecting up to 99% of fraudulent documents through detailed analysis of the data visually present on the ID, including barcodes and machine-readable zones (MRZs). BlinkID Verify begins by evaluating the image quality of photo IDs (factors like blur, glare, lighting conditions and resolution) and then performs in real-time and in a fully automated way a series of document checks, such as:

The device-agnostic process conforms with accessibility guidelines WCAG 2.2 A and enables individuals to securely verify their identity, irrespective of age, gender, cognitive ability, or skin tone.
Types of liveness detection:
- Express Liveness Detection: Individuals take a near-instant face capture. Multi-frame liveness detection analyzes the imagery for spoofs presented to the camera, such as 2D and 3D masks, photos, and presented videos, and the device for spoofs injected into the system, like emulators, virtual cameras, and man-in-the-middle attacks.
- Dynamic Liveness detection: For the highest identity assurance, patented Flashmark technology sends a unique color code to the device. The reflection of light confirms the individual is authenticating in real time, delivering advanced protection against AI-generated attacks, like deepfakes.
Proven Performence and Accuracy
