Verifiable Credentials Mapping

The EUDI Wallet ecosystem provides a generic, decentralized model for user data and DIW Gateway provides mapping of credential types to configured structures.

• Verifiable Presentation (VP) is basically the data package that the user presents to a verifier from the digital wallet.
• Verifiable Credentials (VC) represents a specific dataset containing claims about the user and is provided by the issuer into the digital wallet.

The data has to be interpreted inside the client’s organization to map to the internal canonical data model.
